Alena Wabitsch is a PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of Oxford. As a Macroeconomist, she is particularly interested in the topics of Expectations and Belief Formation, Monetary Policy Communication, and Information Choice. In her research, I combine theory and evidence, making use of a wide array of methods, including Macroeconomic Lab and Survey Experiments and Machine Learning (e.g. for Textual Analysis). Previously, she has worked at the ECB’s Research Department and at the Deutsche Bundesbank.
