Economic Policy 122
Economic Policy Issue 122 features eight papers addressing urgent questions in climate policy, monetary policy, labour markets, taxation, migration, and emerging-market finance. Contributions include proposals for European climate bonds, historical evidence on how disinflation affects central bank finances, new insights into asymmetric monetary policy objectives, and an evaluation of wage-transparency reforms. Further papers analyse the OECD’s multilateral tax treaty revision, long-run patterns of migrant integration in Germany, the interaction between immigration and right-wing populism, and the evolving capacity of emerging economies to borrow in their own currencies. All papers were peer-reviewed but not presented at a panel meeting.
