Tommaso Monacelli

Tommaso Monacelli is Professor of Economics at Bocconi University, Milan, and Fellow of IGIER, CEPR, and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University. He is Co-Editor of the Journal of International Economics and Associate Editor of several international journals. He is the recipient of the 2026 ECB Duisenberg Fellowship. He has been Visiting Professor at Columbia University and Central European University, and Visiting Scholar at the IMF, ECB, and Riksbank. His research interests lie in monetary economics, macroeconomics, and international macroeconomics.
