The 2nd Economic Policy: Papers on European and Global Issues Conference took place on 19 and 20 June in Venice, where leading economists presented research on tariffs and exchange rates, fiscal populism and monetary policy, the international monetary order, and lessons from populism in Latin America. A high-level policy panel, chaired by Managing Editor Şebnem Kalemli-Özcan and featuring Ricardo Caballero, Maurice Obstfeld, Hélène Rey, and Andrés Velasco, brought together European and international perspectives.
