Luis I. Jácome

Luis I. Jácome is an Ecuadorean economist and Adjunct Professor at the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University. Until 2017, he was Deputy Chief of the Central Banking Division at the International Monetary Fund, where he worked for almost twenty years. Before joining the IMF, he served as Governor of the Central Bank of Ecuador and Undersecretary at the Ministry of Finance. His research focuses on monetary policy and central banking in Latin America.
